Why Everything We Sell Is Made to Order

Why Everything We Sell Is Made to Order

If you've ordered from us before, you'll know your shirt or hoodie doesn't turn up the next day. There's a reason for that, and it's worth explaining rather than just apologising for it every time.

We don't hold stock. Every single item — every design, every size — gets printed only once someone orders it. That means when you hit "buy," your shirt doesn't exist yet. It gets printed, made up, and shipped out over the next few days, rather than pulled off a shelf.

Why do it this way? A few reasons. First, it means we can offer every design in every size without betting money upfront on guessing what'll sell. Second, it means nothing goes to waste — no bin bags of unsold XLs because we ordered wrong, no clearance sales trying to shift stock nobody wanted. Everything printed gets worn by someone who actually chose it.

The trade-off is time. Instead of next-day delivery, you're usually looking at a few days for production plus standard shipping on top. We know that's not instant gratification, and if you need something for a specific match day, order with time to spare rather than the morning of. And remember — orders over £20 ship free across the UK.

It's a smaller, slower way of doing things. But it means every ALAW shirt out there exists because someone wanted it — not because a warehouse needed clearing.
